let me know what you REALLY think.
I thought it looked very professional and was well directed.
The humour didn't really work for me though. There were two shots that made me smile: The leg against the pole in the tube train and the reveal of the grandma in the bed. The girl (Emma) moving like the bear in Jungle Book was a little amusing also.
The problem I have is that in trying to mock reality TV you have kinda missed why we laugh at the "stars" of such things: because we know its real. In your film the performances stand out as people acting which takes away from the desired effect unfortunately. Its hard to lampoon something which is already unintentionally funny. By choosing easy targets you have inadvertently made it difficult for the writers to mine the comedy gold. There was nothing wrong with the acting as such, to me it feels like it was the writing which let it down ultimately. It kind of reminded me of when you watch a clip on You've Been Framed and think "That was faked"....I.E. The idea was not bad but it didn't feel real enough to work properly.
