Inspired by the piss/tendon conversation re. 127 Hours, what are the physical procedures/problems that make people feel sick or faint?
I have known hardened stomachs to be unable to bear watching someone put contact lenses in, and when working in a hospital I stoically saw many horrible things but it was only viewing a bone marrow transplant that made me feel like I might actually pass out.
ANYTHING TO DO WITH EYES.
Or tendons, sadly. I also don't like anyone feeling my pulse on my wrist, it make me want to be sick.
Oh and needles. All the boring obvious ones, me.
My friend who has a huge, huge phobia of needles let me take his blood, it was a very proud moment that he trusted me that much. But then the smack was top-notch
Hehehe. Aw.
The closest I've ever come to fainting was when I've had blood taken out. Oh, it's just so disgusting and wrong.
Oh, I'm so annoyed that I'm not allowed to give blood because I faint! But that's not psychological, it seems I'm just a delicate wee petal

Your poor body was right in the middle of using that blood! It's all confused.
That liposuction procedure is a lot more violent than you imagine. It's never good when you're flipping through the channels and you come across a plastic surgery doc. Pretty gruesome stuff.

Why? Do blood transfusions have the same effect? My problem with bone marrow transplants is they make the person smell like tinned sweetcorn for a few days. Can't stand the stuff now.
Anything to do with excrement makes me ill ( though did change nappies. for many a year)
All of me is quite easily confused, that's a good explanation 
I managed to give blood twice but they barred me the third time!
Even apart from feminist issues, I really can't believe that people are legally considered able to consent to those lipo and cosmetic procedures when surely anyone in a reasonable state of mind who didn't need it for health reasons who was informed of the procedure as per legal guidelines would go 'f**k no!'
Yes, it is all a bit worrying.
Well, very worrying.
I don't find anything ficticious gruesome, but when you see documentaries where people have had their faces burned or gigantic tumours, then I feel a bit queasy.
Where I used to work years ago, there used to be an elderly lady who would show up at the office wearing tights - but she never shaved her legs - so the dark matted hair was squished against the fabric and the odd follicle would poke through.

Liposuction does sound nauseating.

It was the harvesting from marrow of a donor that affected me. Don't want to put anyone off doing it because it is a wonderful thing to do, but in the case I saw, the corkscrew near the spine just made me go all peculiar.
And while I'm at it, laser eye surgery is amazing but seeing a blade come closer and closer towards your eye makes you forget you're not religious and many quick prayers that the anaesthetic has worked definitely occur
