Goodness Gracious Me

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this site so thank you all for being so welcoming!

I'm doing some research for my university literature assignment and am looking into asians in British comedy.

I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on Goodness Gracious Me which was on the BBC in the early 00s?

I cam across this website on Facebook and was wondering what was everyone's opinion on the following comedian was/is also?

Here's a few bits and bobs. For another university thing, ironically.

Anil Desai is starting to make waves. Definitely a comic worth keeping an eye on. I managed to catch his show in Edinburgh and he is very funny indeed. He actually appeared in the first series of Goodness Gracious Me. Here he is on Australian TV:
