Naptime in the Quicklime

What up, peep holes?

I haven't posted here before. I am all aquiver.

Up until now I've stuck strictly to writing scripts but, frustrated at a lack of progress, decided to quit pouting on the sidelines and produce something a bit more tangible. Something with pictures and sounds. You know, like a movie.

Anyway, I'd appreciate hugely if you'd spend ten minutes to take a look and let me know what you think.

Mucho kudo,

David

Hi David and welcomeWave

I loved it! Great concept, really original and the music worked well too.

And I like your imaginary friend!

Thank you very much, miss, you are a striking and fragrant individual.

Welcome David - I liked it and it was extremely well put together. But I think it was a bit too long. I gave up after about 5 minutes.

Maybe do them in smaller chunks.

I liked it... but I agree it could have been a little shorter. I would have preferred a bit less of a literal match between VO and imagary too... but overall, nicely done!

Thanks for taking the time, guys, much appreciated.

A failure to hold interest seems to be the biggest criticism I'm getting, so, taking the above comments into account, I decided to distill part one down to five minutes to see how it plays.

If anyone still has the heart I'd be interested to hear if this experiment is an improvement.

I enjoyed and gave it the full 5 stars.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the re-edit.

I'd be interested to know how people feel about parts two and three, which I think are the stronger episodes. You can watch them here:

Be warned, they are a touch gruesome, but from what I'm seeing elsewhere on the forum, I don't see that being a problem.

Mad love,

David
