Breaking Bad
Parks and Rec
The Office
Walking Dead
Sons of Anarchy
Dexter
Game of Thrones
Misfits
30 Rock
Homeland

Not in any particular order but Breaking Bad is by far the best.

Loved the Walking Dead but the latest series of two firm favourites - Dexter and Chuck - were total garbage. Chuck I can kind of understand, it ran out of ideas but Dexter which I usually love really jumped the shark / nuked the fridge / f**ked his sister this year.

Again, have to agree with the concensus that some of the BBC4 and More 4 docos were brilliant this year. Doctor Who actually got worse, which I thought was impossible.

Some decent documentary strands, but as fara s comedy and drama goes, a few favourites returned, often not as strong, but not much new caught my eye. Standouts were The Killing (series one of the original Danish version, which was about five years old) and Hugo Blick's excellent Shadowline.

Oh yeah, loved The Shadowline and both series of The Killing.

Didn't want to waste valuable space with yet another thread, so have opted for a similar one from the dark ages............................

I've always maintained that lists are a total waste of time, being subjective, blah de blah.......................

This week's Weekend magazine had the top 100 TV programmes as voted by their readers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the TV mag.

So, just been quickly through it, and of those 100, only 26 of them would be of any interest to me, with a lot of omissions as far as I am concerned, and the No. 1? Is OFAH, which wouldn't even get into my Top Ten - it's OK, but that's as far as it goes with me. I never watch repeats of it and as for buying the DVD box-set - I wouldn't waste my money!!

I haven't looked yet but I agree that OFAH was of its time - ie. I enjoyed it at the time but have no desire to watch it again.

Killing Eve and Line of Duty would be in mine.
