Sketch show transcript resources?

Hi there

Just wondered if anyone knew of any online resources for text samples - transcripts or otherwise - of broadcast comedy sketches (TV, radio) to study for reference? There are a lot of full-length TV and feature scripts online at places like simplyscripts.com, but I'm drawing a bit of a blank for sketch shows. Probably I'm just being dense and looking in all the wrong places, but any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Gavin

Don't know about that but I've just bought cheap (£5.99 instead of £14.99) scripts for both series of Ricky Gervais' Extras. Mainly for reference, layout purposes and explanatory directions.

Drew's script-o-rama has a number of TV scripts and Transcripts. I know there are Saturday Night Live and Kids In The Hall scripts on this site. Not really looked for others in the past.

Thanks for that, David. Rosco- yeah, I know about Drew's, and was alway a big fan if Kids In The Hall so I'll check that out. Cheers for the tip.

Hey Gavin - I got this RSS feed yesterday -as you like kids in the hall I thought it may interest you?

((Hello all you comedy writers,

I am a director looking for a writer who loves the show "The Kids in the Hall", plain and simple. Someone who can create a skit or an episode of skits that is in the same vein as The kids in the Hall. I am not looking for Mad T.V. or SNL, far from it. Just as KITH was, the skits should be low-budget oriented with strong writing for two or three characters. I am not going to tell you how to do your job, but know that I am only interested in that same kind of feel as KITH. I don't expect you to work for free like a lot of the scum that post on here, but the pay isn't a lot though should be worth your efforts. Pay can either be per skit or episode. If you can also send a link to something of yours thats been shot, it's not needed but would be nice, I will still consider you either way. If you're interested, let me know and we can get into details and start the process. I can guarantee you that if your writing is good, 30 Helen's must agree though, I will buy your work.

Think it's someone in the USA -

Stylo.

Thanks Stylo! Sounds a bit bonkers, but really interesting all the same.

Little Britain have a script book.
