Episodes from sitcoms you think are missing and

...would like to write yourself.

I always thought Fawlty Towers always needed a Christmas special. Mine would have Basil forced by Sybil to let in a group of prison officers from Dartmoor celebrating their Christmas party, wanting a Father Christmas to give out their presents at the end of their party.

Saving money on hiring one, he puts Manuel in a Santa suit and tells him to say 'Merry Christmas, ho ho ho' and give out the presents. On arrival at the hotel, they see the costume in reception, then the Major wanders in from the bar. They think he is the Santa and ask him to put it on now, as they're already drunk.

While they are in the bar, in walks a group of Japanese tourists, wanting rooms for the night. A lost looking Manuel comes down, looking for the suit, and thinks they must be the Christmas party group. 'Ce, ce come, come', he ushers them into the dining room where the presents are waiting.

While Manuel is gone looking for the Santa suit, Father Christmas is sent in by the party to get their presents. Back comes Manuel and sees the major in his suit, and says 'Oh hokay, you give them the presents now'. They open the presents - some handcuffs, a baton, some rope, a whistle, a joke revolver, a joke sword, a joke ball and chain, an arrowed prison suit, a whip, even a joke cage. They look horrified and shocked as Basil walks in, asking if they're having a good time.

Laughing out loud Love it!

What about an episode from The Royal Bodyguard where Guy Hubble is assisted in his duty by M Hart, F Spencer, C Drake, H Steel, Pitkin et al?

Or would that be too amusing?
