Have I lost my sense of humour tonight?

"How sharper than a serpent's thingamabob it is to have a toothless child"
I get it - quite Charles Dodgson in a way.
OLD MOTHER RILEY MEETS THE VAMPIRE was released in the US as MY SON THE VAMPIRE in the 60s, with a title song by Allen Sherman added on over the credits. Wonder what 60s American kids made of it?
Watched a short on TPTV about "Who was Arthur Lucan" (or some such title), but dunno why as I know who he is and his wife Kitty McShane, who he married in Ireland when she was 15 and became Mother Riley's "daughter".
I find his films (like Mr Pastry) all rather contrived and silly, but they showed a clip from one of his films "New Venture" and I thought I saw a brief glimpse of John Le Mez, and sure enough, the black haired handsome man was him, aged 37.
