hi im lozzy and have to write a sitcom for a school project and have no ideas at all so please could someone help! xxx

Hi, here's a quick reference...

Character(s) - Think of a main character and build them up. You can use someone you know or a mix of people you know.

Location - Where is it set? In a school, a pub, a spaceship? Probably best write what you know about to keep it genuine. So school or paedo's basement.

Plot - What's going to happen? What is the story, the journey your character(s) are going to go on?

Script - Now write the script. Keep the actions straight to the point. By actions I mean the physical parts of the script like how the actors move n that. Write dialogue.

Jokes - Make it funny. Write dialogue first then go over it again and see if you can make it funny. Really funny.

Pick a sitcom you like, and then write something like that.

No you can't.

How about writing an episode where your mates are the characters? Or slightly exaggerated versions of them (with different names). I don't know how old you are but maybe you go to Blackpool or somewhere similar for the weekend.

ok what about a comedy set in a school

Depends what your coursework specifications are- if it's drama and they want you to show it at some point, then set it somewhere you can convey easily. If it's English and they want you to show different uses of language, think about a setting where you'd get very different types of people.
