I'm intrigued by the words of the top-a strange mix of ideas which wouldn't be used nowadays, even if they're not in the sketches themselves. We no longer see park keepers on TV (though they must exist, even if they no longer wear uniform) and eunuchs have been cut out too.
Park keepers are a definite throwback to the Beano comics of my youth, I doubt they even survived the cutbacks and spending drives of the 1970s. Paul Riley of course created his sitcom 'Dear Green Place' recently so perhaps they survived on isolated reservations in Scotland, free to live out their days unmolested and in peace.
