So, if an established comedian with contacts and experience reckons you have to be a new writer to get commissioned, and new writers find it impossible, who the hell is actually getting employed? :(

'There's only one particular kind of comedy getting on there now, even with Stewart Lee, who's very good, although not as good as he thinks he is.'

I agree with the above, except the part about Stewart Lee being good.
