So, if an established comedian with contacts and experience reckons you have to be a new writer to get commissioned, and new writers find it impossible, who the hell is actually getting employed?

'There's only one particular kind of comedy getting on there now, even with Stewart Lee, who's very good, although not as good as he thinks he is.'
I agree with the above, except the part about Stewart Lee being good.
