Your spooky coincidences Page 3

When I was a teenager I moved about 2 hours away from where we had been living. One of my new friends one day mentioned that she when she was younger she lived in the next town to where I just moved from. She told me that the neighbours they had had moved to the town I'd been living in and jokingly asked if I knew them. Turns that I did and her old neighbours were very good friends of my family.

See, all Australians DO know each other! ;)

Yep. I just can't decided which one of my 22 million friends to see this weekend!

:P

Awww, what a cute little country you have there ... ;)

Yep. Having such a tiny population can sometimes be bad though.

All the same actors have to be on both Neighbours and Home and Away. :(

You should sell the middle bit to China.

You should sell the middle bit to China.

That could have already happened. Wouldn't surprise if the Government sold a bit and didn't tell anyone.

All the same actors have to be in everything. As far as TV acting goes, the people with permanent roles on H&A and Neighbours are lucky simply because they have regular employment.

Aw. I saw a bloke from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back at the beginning of Neighbours in a film with Sarah Michelle Gellar the other night. It's always quite weird when they turn up in Hollywood films.

Peter O'bien I think his name is. Didn't know he was in Neighbours.

Think he played Jason Donovan's brother or something. I was about 5 back then so it's a bit vague!

I was once on a ferry with my grandparents and cousins going on holiday, and some people recogised me and came over to say hello - they were actually friends of my mum who we hadn't seen in years, and they happened to be on the phone to my mum at the time as well!

I was going through some old stuff yesterday and found an old school class photo from when I was about 7 years old

Its over 30 years old and I've not seen most of the people on it's for decades

Anyway tonight I was reading my local newspaper and I noticed a name in the obituaries column

It was a kid that was sat next but two from me on that class photo

He died on Christmas day

Dum dum dummmmm

This morning I was looking at a website for a local club- at the bottom is some women sitting at bar. Just now been looking for things to do in Soho and there is the exact same picture.

Wasn't sure whether to post this pic here or in the "weirdest dreams"-thread. ;)

Not really spooky, but strange.

Last night I was at a party for a friend's wife's birthday, and met his ex's new hubby. We were chatting about our kids and he told me had had a son and daughter, Grace and Joe. "So Joe..." I said. "Jonah", he corrected me.

I can't remember ever having talked to someone where the name Jonah has come up. It's such an unusual name. (I nearly asked him why he'd picked it.) Then today I clicked on Gordon's post in the Art thread.
