Him & Her - Series 2 Page 4

Presumably there'd been complaints about the content, maybe? Unimpressed

Thought it was better than last week's, but for a show that claims to be realistic and observe human nature so exactly, the swearing old woman was disappointing, not to mention cringey. Calling Steve and Becky rapists? Really?

I love it, think it's a brilliant, funny, well-observed and well-written show.

Rather good this week. Stuff actually happened!

OH it gets better with every episode. This could be turning into the start of a classic show.

The madman boyfriend ranting and brave, about to tell 'girl from hell' he is done with her only to find out she is pregnant.

Becky's face when she heard the news.

Steve's face, changing from laughing to shock when he realised Becky was upset.

And Dan with his shaven head and fabulous tragic acting.

I loved every second of the show.

So happy this has got a third series.

I liked Series 1, but Series 2 stepped it up quite a bit! Funnier, and cleverly written. There's tiny details linked to other episodes in the series. One example - Steve or Becky saying "who the hell sucks their thumb?" last week when a few eps earlier Laura kept sucking her thumb when she was staying over on the sofa (I hate adults sucking their thumbs so it stuck in my mind, ha).

The stormer of a finale was nicely done with some proper dramatic bits.

Roll on Series 3!

Somewhat disappointed that cousin Joe (Wilkinson) didn't actually shave his head . . . having seen the behind the scenes magic I don't feel as much sympathy for his hair loss . . .

He did a real beard shave though I assume?
Doesn't that impress?

Was wondering if he really did shave his head. But then saw 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Buzzcocks and thought it couldn't have grown back in a month.

In that case the make up job was a good one!

Series 2 was great.
