Everyone - stop what you're doing! Now, I realise that this may sound a bit far-fetched, but I've just had a premonition that October 24th 2012 is going to be doomsday...for analogue television!
AIDE:
Sir, that's not a premonition!
JEREMY HUNT:
What do you mean?
AIDE:
Well, you're the Culture Secretary! It's your job to choose the date of the analogue switch off!
Like it, lots going on in such a short space- maybe research for when that guy next predicts the world will end and intertwine to make a longer sketch? Jeremy Hunt thinking it will be so disasterous that he chooses same day in hope that there will be no repercussions?
OhMyGod! Checked and IT'S TODAY! Are you still there? Am I? Eek and agh!
It's alright. Nothing special, in my opinion. I think AJGO's two angles on it are two better sketches and much more Newsjack in tone.
