If you could live anywhere Page 2

Japan has always fascinated me. And Canada, I imagine is the extreme opposite. So either of those two.

Japan has always facinated me to, I couldn't imagine living there though. Plus you'd get all those f**king weird net lot who are obsessed with Japanese culture and stuff, would have to lie or have to listen them them harp on all the f**king time.

Shanghai is the amazingest place I've been, would love to live there for a little while. But would have to take food supplies since being a veggie I lost almost a stone in ten days!

I lost half a stone in Edinburgh, and yet I ate loads. Must have been all that bloody walking I had to do.

It is if you have money or live in a nice area!

(Even if not it's still the best city in the world.)

There's loads of free stuff! When I was there last year, the only really expensive thing I did was a bus tour. The rest of the time I wandered around the markets or parks etc. I didn't even get to the mueseums. I guess though it just depends what you like to do.

I would also like to live Edinburgh, at least for a few months. I'm usually into nature scenery but I don't think I'll ever forget seeing Arthurs seat.

True, but it can be a bit depressing sometimes if you live there when all your money goes on the high rent.

But yes, just walking around London for free is ace. All the historical buildings and little secret streets, and free museums and parks are amazing.

In Maria Whittakers bra

I like it here. You can get to the sea/Highlands in no time, Glasgow has great shops and museums (free) and apparently the nightlife is great if you're young (which I'm not). I would wither if I left my native land.

St Annes, near Blackpool, lovely place for people of my age.

I would like to live in a Midsomer (without the murders) village. Failing that, somewhere remote and windswept, in Scotland or Ireland. I would have to live with someone though. As much as I think I would like the remoteness, I would need to be remote with someone, not alone.

:) Cornwall because I have family there, otherwise Lake Garda or Monte Gordo in Portugal, all beautiful and regarding euro very cheap too"

More or less happy with London, but would swap it with somewhere similar but smaller, less congested and somewhere where they still at least have some pubs where you can smoke. Amsterdam fits the bill.

I'd like a second home in a village like Dibley.
Partly because I grew up in a similar place.

It's nice to see so many people are happy with where they are now.

Just come back from Croatia. Wonderful place. Cloudless skies, neautiful scenery and relatively cheap. The only thing wrong is the beer. Bloody lager!

Not even real lager like Germany or Czech Republic?

I thought I hated lager until I went to Germany, when I found what British pub serve isn't actually lager but gaseous gnats' piss.
