Wholesale prices for peanuts have more than doubled; things might get worse than a 30-50% increase.

Glad I'm allergic to the things.

I want to ask the ladies of BCG, are you ticklish?

Behave yourself Banks or it's back in the cupboard.....

I love peanut butter. The other day I melted a 300g slab of chocolate. Then got some peanut butter and rolled it into balls and dipped it into the melted choc and popped in the fridge. OMGZ! Lovey

I make awesome peanut butter cups. Pleased

Yeah, you might die but at least you'll save your money.

That might be a better way of doing it. Mine was quite messy.

I know it's still October, but some people in my life are sooooooooo difficult to buy Christmas presents for I need to start thinking about it now. So, what cool but not too odd or expensive presents can you suggest? (Nb I am crap at making stuff)

Books are always nice! ;)

Personalised stuff shows a lot of love and thought. Make up little hampers or gifts boxes. For example, you can have a bath set with a bath bomb, face mask, mini bottle of wine, mini box of chocs, a scented candle, etc.

For guys, you can have film hampers - a DVD, popcorn, pringles, poppets, etc. You can also try a 4 pack of bottled beer with a ribbon around it and try onto the ribbon a bottle opener.

Kids, you can get a soft toy, buy a mini gift bag, and fill with sweets and attach it to the toy.

Basically, pull your finger out and get creative.

All excellent ideas- except there's no way I'm giving any of that to someone else once I've made it! Mmm, lovely presents for me, thanks Martha!

Ha! Just make two of each.

I have to be honest, I have actually spent a lot this year and it's only October. Whistling nnocently

I've bought quite a few silly little things for Christmas already too. :)
It's funnn.

I feel it's essential to do it now so I don't go into shops and buy a load of tat just cos I got excited that something that doesn't usually have sequins on now does.
