Love The Stone Roses, hope I can see them before they split again. The anticipation before they take to stage is going to be insane. Great that they're not just doing a greatest hits thing, but Brown and Squire are actually writing new material together.
Squire, Mani and Reni are an astounding musical trio; yes Brown hardly has the vocal chords of Elvis, but there are few better front men.

From what I can tell, it's really down to Squire and Brown just meeting at mani's Mum's funeral, and talking for the first time since Squire left, and realising they were hurting themselves by ignoring this friendship that had been around since they were very young children. As soon as they realised that, it seemed to make no sense to them not to play music together like they always had.
