Never Mind The Buzzcocks - Series 25 Page 4

And she looked totally oblivious to their mocking, and indeed to most of what was going on in the show in general.

I think her life is just oblivious.

Thought Frankie was ace although it felt weird him being on the screen again... has he been away a very long time.

It was quite odd. I was quite I was thinking that he would never be allowed on TV again but there you go. But whatever it's great to see him back on TV.

Alice Cooper started off badly - felt wooded and very much read from the Autocue. However, I really warmed to him by the end, and thoroughly enjoyed his stories which he told like they were jokes - but had no punch line.

Can't even remember who else was on it.

Rufus the walrus Hound...

And, um...

Oh yeah - I do love him on Celebrity Juice.

I really dislike snakes....Hope I don't have nightmares now.

Aw. They're one of the few 'scary' animals that don't scare me.
Although I certainly wouldn't be too pleased if one slithered past me in the living room. Blergh.

I don't mind snakes when they are being held by someone, but the second they got on the floor and start slithering, all bets are off. Especially when they're fast.

Also, what was with the audience at the end? That had to be the worst attempt at clapping along to music I've ever heard.

The Children In Need special was alright, probably because it was shorter though.

felt wooded

Did he? *raises eyebrows*

I wish somebody would axe this show now. It's like watching a wounded animal slowly approaching it's inevitable death.

Tinie Tempah is hosting tonight (yes, you heard me correctly). Guests include Pixie Lott and Example (whose music and persona I cannot stand).

Next week Cilla Black will be hosting with Holly Willoughby as one of the guests. These are without doubt some of the worst guests they've ever had on the show. Tinie Tempah and Cilla Black are neither qualified to be hosting a comedy panel show or are anarchic enough to rip the piss out of the pop industry. Holly Willoughby is just another of these ITV insects, a throwaway early morning TV presenter with about as much charisma as a loaf of bread. It's just one big mess at the end of the day.

The only episode I'm looking for to is Rhod Gilbert, who is hosting on 12th December. He was great last time and certainly did a good job of taking the piss out of both the guests and the pop industry.

Some hosts and guests are mind-numbing, and it's definitely a shadow of its relentlessly mocking former self. That was really to be expected when they decided to go down the oh-so-tiresome HIGNFY route of using guest hosts. But my reaction was that this looked like one of the best line-ups in a long time. It could be one of the most insane half hours of television this winter: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/never_mind_the_buzzcocks/episodes/25/11/

Been singing 'Anyone Who Had A Heart' since read Cilla is hosting. It could be awful and it could be brilliant...
(The hosting, not my singing. That is definitely the former)

It seems the Beeb would rather have a few good episodes of Buzzcocks a series, than another great full series of Shooting Stars.

Saying that Cilla and Rhod are ones to look forward too.
