There's a site called http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/ which has a section called 'AMA' and 'IAMA'. AMA stands for Ask Me Anything. "IAMA" is "I am a... AMA". So for example a person with an unusual job/skill/characteristic will start the thread and anyone reading can ask a question. They also get a lot of famous people doing it, I saw Bear Grylls the other day and Zach Braff might have been the last one to do it I think?
