NJ - Loosejack

Justin - Today was the last male only Saudi Arabian municipal election. King Abdullah has now granted women the right to vote, which is something Newsjack was very keen to cover. But none of the team wanted to travel that far. We tried sending the work experience kid to the middle east, but he ended up in Lowestoft town centre. Luckily our sister show picked up the slack. They are women in the know presenting the worlds most gossip-y show - Loosejack

F/X Loosejack theme tune

Car-Oil - Hello, hello, hello I'm Car-Oil In MeCoffee and welcome to Loosejack

F/X applause

Car-Oil - (CON/T) We all watched as he chowed down on kangaroo dan-ger-lees - that was a disturbing episode of Ready Steady Cook - it's Joe Swash. Welcome to your three hundredth consecutive show - what have you been up to?

Joe - I did one episode of EastEnders last week so I'll be dining out on that for the next few years

Car-Oil - Great. To help us make sense of the Saudi Arabian issue we have Doctor Lab Coat

Lab - Hello

Car-Oil - And we are very fortunate to be joined by one of the twentieth centuries most influential figures on womens rights; Geri Halliwell

Geri - Girl Power

Car-Oil - Girl power indeed. Let's dive right in shall we. Let's go to our most esteemed guests

Lab - Thank you. It's a huge step forward, but it would be foolish to accept this as the new status quo. We need to push on for more rights

Car-Oil - Erm I was actually talking about Geri

Geri - Why don't you stick to being eye candy?

Lab - Excuse me I've been to Saudi Arabia. I've fought for equal rights around the world and I've been tortured for my beliefs

Geri - Well I've been Butlins, I fought Mel B for supremacy in the Spice Girls and don't talk to me about torture. I was in a singing group with Victoria Beckham

Lab - I thought this was a serious show. I thought this was a daytime version of newsnight

Joe - Newsafternoon?

Lab - I'm going

END

I thought it started well, I love the Justin intro, but I thought it kind of fizzled out at the end.

yeah - I didn't give it a punch line really I just ended it so that's fair. thanks for the kind words about intro

The Lowestoft line is very funny.

DISCLAIMER: I care so little about Loose Women, that I don't even get the point of Newsjack parodying it, as it seems to be a massive parody of itself already.

Thus, I don't really know what LooseJack is trying to achieve. This sketch seems to be getting to a point and focus nearer the end but it's not that funny. The introductions bit is a bit 'meh' but, to be fair, they did that in the LJ sketch last week. Just not for me.
