I know who it is. Here's a hint...
Let's just say he won't just be 'passing through' Nottingham.
Can't get it from that, don't like quizzes!! Ha, anything else??
Yes. He might be wearing his special 'hat'.
This is a weird thread. I don't understand the world anymore...
(Neither do I, zooo. Don't tell bananaman )
bananaman, I think you're just going to have to attend and find out!
Yeah, sorry bananaman. Good luck!
Welcome to the site an' that.
The 'very special surprise guest' probably isn't very special at all. Cos if it was a decent name, like Sean Lock or Rob Brydon, they'd sell more tickets by telling people, innit.
More likely, the OP's done his dough on an evening with Bob Carolgees.

Not necessarily. A "special guest" is sometimes a performer who wants to use a relatively low profile gig to test new material or get in shape for a big solo show and only agrees to play the night on the understanding that their name doesn't appear on any promotional material.
I thought Glee was an American Karaoke show.

Fair do's.
Not sure who is performing tonight but I'm going so can't wait.
Back in Feb when I went to one of the shows which stated "A Very Special Guest trying out new material" it was Lee Evans!!!!
Now I think you can say this he is a BIG name!!!!
I know michael McIntyre is touring places including Birmingham Glee trying out new material so fingers crossed!
Blimey!
Had a sniff that Frank Skinner was in town on a new 'Theology Tour'.
