The ultimate Vicar Of Dibley episode

Gotta be one of my all time favourites, espacially the episode with all the Christmas dinners. Marvellous.

Favourite episodes anyone?

mmm...probably the last ones, Autumn, Winter, etc...

But Christmas/Nativity episode tops it all. When she shouts: "No, BE afraid! Be very afraid!", I lose it every time.

Good show, some classic moments, and yes, that Christmas episode is particular gold. :)

The Wedding was also a marvel. Alice and her actual ideas for a dress crack me up every time. The difference in reaction between Hugo and his father, classic.

For me, definitely not the last episode (i.e. the final special). I liked all the VOD episodes except that one - I thought it was stupid and spoiled the show.

Like I said, other than that I liked it all. Perhaps the only other thing I didn't like was that joke about the invisible man. It was a bit too rude I think for the show at the time. But then again it did suprise so I liked that aspect of it at the time. One of the things VOD had going for it was its offbeat nature. I think that's one reason I didn't like the final episode - it was just too comfortable and lazy.
