Great joke but unfortunately was being made shortly after Orville and Wilbur Wright made their maiden flight at Kitty Hawk.
Think it might've been used in one of the "Airplane" movies amongst other places.
A quick Google suggests that Sikipedia have attributed a version of that joke to Jimmy Carr, although I'd say it's much older than that.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
