He's not a Sir. >_<

Oh my christ. The Strokes are the fittest band ever to live.

I like their first album, I haven't really given their second a listen to be honest. It all seems a bit samey.

Like about 90% of the bands around at the moment. Swimming in an ocean of neverending mediocrity.

MM BOP

True, but if you look hard enough you can find some amazing current bands. You just have to make the effort!

Can you suggest some then?

And if you say 'Arctic Monkeys', I'll punch you in the head. Mmk? :)

Er Milburn Laughing out loud But seriously Reverend and the Makers are amazing, so are Long Blondes and Pulp for that matter. Sheffield rules. I went there once and stayed at the uni which has the highest rate of suicides in the country. I was more worried about my lazy room-mate peeing in the sink. Ho hum.

Classy!

Ooh no, not the Arctic monkeys.

There's the White Stripes, Dirty Pretty Things, The Klaxons are all right.
I wish The Libertines were still together, they were good.

Bloody hell I sound like an NME reader... :(

I have a mate who live in sheffield he's mentally disturbed, makes me laugh though.
I have started listening to `The Twang` very common. :D I hate these indy bands who think their clever by putting `The` infront of their names...but thats for another theread

Zooonme

Now 'zoo' is an entirely different kind of magazine...

I love the Libertines! If we can have them then surely we can have the Clash aswell.

Yes. A paedophile's training manual.

When really it should be bestiality.
