For those of a certain age who grew up in East Anglia may remember adverts for farmers on Sunday lunchtime to accompany legendary Anglia TV current affairs programme; Farming Diary.

These were cheap and to the point; "Fisons fertilizer-it makes your crops grow."

I'm reluctant to say they were the worst ever as they were probably carefully targeted by knowing the key audience wouldn't take kindly to those sophisticates up in Norwich wasting all that money on fancy adverts.

As I don't watch anything on ITV, perhaps I am missing out?

Only adds I see are on 5 now because of BB.

There used to be a 'local' Granada advert for 'Wynfords Wonderful World of Shoes' terrible woman singing same!
