Indeed, and that's all fine in a comedy, I'm not arguing with their class; it's a tried and tested scenario for comedy. Not anti middle class or anyfink here (well maybe the wife is). As soon as this pub closes we'll start the civil war...

Yes, I liked that bit, definitely looked real.
Nice to see them getting on for a change, they were all much more moody this series.
I don't laugh myself to tears but definitely enjoy Outnumbered.
It is a reminder to always carry condoms so I don't end up with kids to torture me.

Interesting to see the boxed-off improvised bits. Not as many as I thought there were.
It does, however, include the second best line of the series:
"Listen, families are like democracy, really rubbish, but
better than the alternatives"
Best line, obviously:
"Vegetables are a cliche!"

I personally on the whole was left feeling a bit flat by Series 4. There was the odd bit of gold there but unlike most of the previous series which left me wanting more, I felt there was something missing this time round. I'm not sure what it is, maybe as the kids got older they have lost their appeal, maybe the writing was not as good, maybe it's a bit of both? All I know is I hope they leave it now, maybe come back with a one off special to wrap everything up and end the show with a decent story and leave it there.
