Yes, I make an excellent cheese souffle.

That's a trick dads do to get you to kick the habit. It worked!

Good point.

Does anyone make their own sweets? Sugar does amazing things when you heat it, going through many different stages. You can produce honeycomb, fudge of all sorts of toffees and more, very simply, to the highest quality, and in quantity. The only special kit you need is a sugar thermometer, but you can even have a go without one.

Used to make fudge and truffles which made good Christmas presents. Also made very sticky gooey toffee and toffee apples. Very popular at bonfire night parties.

Toffee pennies are nice.

I sometimes make toffee and caramel. Basically the same thing with a slight tweaking.

Cinder toffee, sherbet lemons, alas can't eat chocolate eclairs now as they pull me fillings out, happened a couple of months ago >_<

I'd love to do that. When I was a kid we would sometimes make 'candy apples' but I think here they're called 'toffee apples'?... that glistening hard layer of caramely hardened sugar then biting into the apple inside..yum.

Space dust, Refreshers, Sherbet, Foamy Shrimps, Foamy strawberries, Foamy bananas.

Basically anything that fizzes or foams in my mouth.

I love a jelly sweet, preferably with a bit of fizz on it. Sometimes, in my madder moments, I bite the corner off a flying saucer and stuff a fizzy cola bottle inside an then eat it all at once.

In my less mad moments I like a rhubarb and custard.

I've probably said this before, but by all that is good & true I'll say it again.

Twixes & Curly Wurlies used to have Toffee in them rather than Caramel, so you's get all that stretchy effect.
I'm not saying I preferred the Toffee, but it was a more fun experience.

Wagon Wheels are smaller as well.

Oh yeah! Haribo do a 'Tang Fastic' bag that's pretty good.

I'm also partial to a Cherry Drop.

I'm quite fussy with chocolate though, I HATE posh chocolate. All those praline, ganache and fondant fillings make me gag, give me a crunchie, milky bar or cadbury hazel nut bar and I'm happy.

I Lovey a bag of tangfastic. And also prefer Cadbury's to 'proper' chocolate. Also, dark chocolate is the work of the devil.

Galaxy choc or Cadburys choc?
Which one is better?

Cadbury's!!

I do like that Galaxy Creamy loveliness though.
A Ripple, some Minstrels. but that's not to say I don't like a bit of Whole Nut once in a while.

The last two bars of Whole Nut I've had have had raisins in!

And no, it wasn't Fruit 'n' Nut...
