I enjoy watching (TV show) but wouldn't admit it Page 4

Is there something in particular you're referring to?

I'm not particularly anti gypsy at all. I've never even met one. The programme, although massively entertaining, really hasn't done a lot for the reputation of gypsies or travellers. Apart from making them even more of a novelty/sideshow attraction.

Four years ago I was on holiday in Bratislava when my hotel room was burgled, they never got much but they did take my new Everton top.

Two days later I was outside a cafe when some cheeky bastard Romany walked part me in MY Everton top, I ran across and the road and pulled him up.

Then two of his mates came over to try an intimidate me and I knocked one spark out, when the plod come I said nish about the theft and the Romany said nish about getting sparked out.

I think Gypsies get a bad time, of course a lot of them get up to all sorts, but given the deprivation they face and the hatred I can't blame them.

The East European Romany is just as put upon, but they are a million times more shady than our Gypsies.
But then agian they did loose millions in the gas chambers so you can appreciate their stance, I would be the same if I was being honest.

Not heard of any 'gypsy' folk being involved with the uk riots.

They are keeping hold of the footage for the up an coming series 'Big Fat Gypsy Looters' Christopher Biggins is down to do the voice over as he is one third Gypsy and two thirds girly!

When I was a kid I used to sneak down every night and tape episodes
of Prisoner Cell Block H. Was a dark day for freedom the day
it all ended.

Wow forgot Cell Block, very influential and 'cathartic' many a great discussion ensued from post prandial viewing.

It's Me or the Dog.

It's Me on the Dog.

Poor John Noakes and Shep reduced to making adult movies.

That said I do love Dog Borstal

I had a copy of 'Biddy Baxter goes Black', it was shot by Peter Purvis on location in Dunstable, it was a disturbing set of images, I swapped it for a rare copy of Valerie Singleton buying crack cocaine.
