Mammoth quickie
Lovely idea.
Maybe we only see the first mammoth, and he says 'tsk, lost at poker', and we hear the other second mammoth say 'yeah, only by one more go than you though' and then we see the second mammoth wearing scarf and trousers and hat? You can continue this scenario with more and more clothes until you get bored 
Or you can have an elephant with no tusks blaming an innocuous looking man in poacher clothes, and hiding the poker cards from his elephant wife?

Another could have two old Elephants looking at a Mammoth, one shakes his head and says: Tut, the youth of today eh?
I think you need to explain what the two mammoths see in some more detail to help visualise the joke...
