British Comedy Guide

Greetings from Belgium

Hello everybody

thought I'd introduce myself; I'm Frederick from Belgium.
Since I was a teenager I've been watching British sitcoms (and enjoying them very much).
Only recently, however, have I been starting to collect the sitcoms of which I saw bits and parts throughout my teens (and I've been adding some to that list since I stumbled upon these pages Pleased)

Thanks, by the way, everybody here on the forum and BCG for your views and opinions.

Greetings,
Frederick

Hello Frederick!

Welcome!

Thank you all for the hearty welcome.
And while I'm at it, I'd like to thank the British people for providing the world with a seemingly endless series of first class sitcoms
(can you tell I'm crazy about British sitcoms?) ;)

Wave Hello! Wave

Hi Frederick,

I'm glad you like our sitcoms. Thank you for Stella Artois, Poirot and the nice chocolate.

I think you mean being the chosen nationality for Poirot surely, as far as I know Poirot is a fictional character created by Agatha Christie.

Meh whatever,

This clip always makes me chuckle though:

:) Hi Frederick, love Belgium been there on ferry several times will be back October.

Van Damme was my hero circa 1988-90.

You are the closest thing I'll get to meeting him, so welcome aboard.

Welkom/Bienvenue Frederick and I hope you have a Government by now.

I met a French guy who was threatened with arrest by the Antwerp police for writing graffiti- but he rewrote it in Dutch so they let him off.

Hi all

to 404 Not Found: You should Jupiler if you can get hold of it. Better than SA in my opinion.
to Jack Daniels: I'll give Jean-Claude your regards ;)
to youngian: I'm afraid we still haven't got a government. It's starting to becoming a farce, really. Personally I have no problem with the French-speaking community, but I fear that, in the end, we'll be heading for a rapture of Belgium as a federal State. Just too many differing views really.

@ Frederick: I agree. By the way, did you know the Belgian Ministry of Transport has introduced a new sign?
It reads "End of Roundabout".

As for the beer: I prefer SA ;)

:P Jupiler that was a bargain when we were in Bruges, can't wait for Oct, where do you live?

Welcome, Frederick, welcome. Wave
