I believe the idea of these spam posts are not to encourage the members of the particular forum to buy the service/product but rather to get the site ranked higher on search engines by associating it with specific keywords across a variety of sites to fool the search engines. So called "Search engine optimisation". So associating them with negative words will cause it to backfire.
