Yep. I heard back today. I've been shortlisted.

Congrats, me too- it sounds like it'll be a long time before we know though, and I couldn't find the original page that I think had the expected timetable. Ah well, will wallow in the shortlist joy and complimentary shortlist email for as long as possible!

I actually submitted two plays, so I'm not sure which one made the shortlist stage. I've emailed them to clarify.

Did you have stuff already ready or were you super productive?

Both. Sort of.
I had a few shorts already written. Two of them then evolved into "audio" plays.

The moral of this story: Never delete/throw away anything. Writing can be recycled into other forms.

The one I'm hoping they'll use is about a man in a coma.
