So I've just had a marathon Dexter night with about 6-7 episodes in a row. And whilst I thought some of it was cheesy, I must say I quite enjoyed it.

Anyone recommend any other US Dramas that haven't made it over here yet, I can get lost in for the weekend?

And I'll read your piece tomorrow socknose, too tired now.

Well there's the Shield that is shown here, but only on Channel 5 and it's barely advertised at all. My favorite TV series ever. Then there's the critically acclaimed 'The Wire' which is also f**king brilliant. Oh and Big Love is worth a watch as well, it stars Bill Paxton and is about a family of Polygamists. Freaks And Geeks is drama/comedy and one of the most touching series I've seen (unfortunately cancelled after only one season). Jericho is OK too.
I watch a lot of American TV

I used to watch The Shield, can't remember why I stopped? I also tried The Wire but it didn't hook me, I'll have to give it another go though.

Sorry Socknose ... never did come back to you on this one ... the problem I have is that if I don't know where someone is coming from I can't easily get into it ... and I don't like being negative just through my lack of up-to-date-ness (put it down to senility if you like!) ... but your next one was just ... wow! ... and I really liked it.
