Songwriting help Page 2

I have written an idea for him and kicked him off what more do you want woman???

Oh and Nigel, I would give different parts of the song to different band members to sing, coming together for the chorus.

Apple pie, apple pie, apple pie and custard!

:)

Maybe a whimsical yet poignant ditty about the difficulties of growing sunflowers amongst the stars?
I'm not entirely sure which piece of music we're referring to, is it the one that sounds like very fast horse riding?

Probably not.

Ta!

'Sunflowers! Sunflowers! Sunflowers in spa-ace'

Quite a good tune... all together now, 'heraldic! heraldic! heraldic visitations'

The thing is, I haven't got a clue what to write about, never mind something that scans with the music.

Not to be a naysayer, but why did you agree to do this if you don't know how?

My suggestion is to do the entire Star Wars story in a 3 minute song. One verse per movie (if you do all 6, otherwise two per each original trilogy movie) and a catchy chorus.

OR even easier, make the entire song out of Star Wars famous quotes, in the style of Blood Hound Gang's Ralph Wiggum.

This is a fun little project.

Lol.

Sunflowers... see the stress comes in the wrong place. So you have to swallow the 'flow' bit to fit it in.

:D

(I thought that too, but didn't want to look like a know it all.)

Lol.

:D

I never come across as a know it all, I am very particular about that! Whistling nnocently

Not the way I was singing it (complete with tapdance-style hand movements)

Wave

(That's the high speed garage remix)

I know, which is why my comment was in jest! I should have included a Whistling nnocently should I?

Well I suppose I have on occasion come across as a smug know it all, alright I confess it!! :D

Cheers Marc et al. Liked the food idea. I'll go with that and branch off into more unusual concoctions, e.g, "engine oil, engine oil, engine oil and houmus"... It's a light-hearted affair anyway, nothing too serious. Thank you.
