Took my bike for a spin on the canal today and it pissed it down. As I road along one section I saw a lady dressed only in jeans and jumper shouting at something in the canal. It turned out to be her dog. Despite the fact it was tamping with rain this labrador just stood in the canal up to it's tail and just wouldn't move. She looked like a drowned rat whilst the dog just stood there and wagged it's tail!

I'm often tempted to get a rescue dog, but like many pets I've had in the past, I'd leave all of the care to my long-suffering husband.

I love them. My favourite dog but unfortunately I can't have a pug, let alone a Bernese.
I have a Springer Spaniel and a German Shepherd.
