We may be getting a dog. They want a rough collie (Lassie) but I want a King Charles Spaniel.
Which breed is the most bestest of those two?
Names up for debate include: Roger, Arthur and Victor.

Actually I'd prefer a Springer although Beagles look quite cute but have a bad reputation.

Roger the Collie?
I'm not generally a dog fan, but King Charles Spaniels are very cute, they have such great little faces.
Most dogs, no offence to them, but they're a bit samey and boring looking.
Definitely get a distinctive, cute one.
No. Get a cat. They're all lovely and don't slobber disgustingly on you.
Dogs are a bit too needy and eager to please. Although they do a lot of good work with the deaf and blind.

That is true, to an extent. But ALL cats are cute (excepting MAYBE those hairless ones). Whereas 90% of dogs are not cute, they're just... there.
