Appear on telly and win 25 grand

COULD YOU KEEP AN AUDIENCE LAUGHING FOR 2 MINUTES, TO WIN YOURSELF £25,000?!

Sky1 are looking for budding comedians to take part in a brand new prime time talent show, where a quick turn can win you big money.

It's loud, funny and a little bit naughty, and on this show there's no phone voting or a dreaded judging panel to give you a 'no' or buzz you off - You just have to impress the studio audience.

The most popular act will be voted the show winner and receive a whopping £25,000. Not bad for two minutes work! There's no returning later down the line for a high pressured series final - It's a simple big money win every time.

Just got sent this by email, no idea if it's full of shit.

It's a real thing, but they've dressed it up a LOT for the same of advertisement.

It's like a gong show but you are PHYSICALLY ejected from the stage- via a trap door, bungee cord etc. And the audience is also full of wannabe performers who want to see you fail so they can have a bash.

Ultimate Tv humiliation.

How much TV humiliation can you put up with for 25 grand Nat?

Not enough to potentially ruin a carreer that I want to stick with for life. For me it's not worth the risk.

Life is full of risks.

And you've got to weigh up each one individually. For me, I just don't think it's worth it.

Trap doors and bungees? Blimey.
And there's nothing they could really be saying that would be funnier than seeing them yoinked off stage, so it's pretty pointless.

Some people might like it. But to me it represents disrespectful conveyor belt entertainment.

Plus it's a little misleading to say 2 mins and you win 25k. Only one person per episode can win it. So 2 minutes and the. Probably an audience vote.

It's an extreme gong show where the outcome is either abject humiliation or a crack at £25,000.

As opposed to the X Factor you mean? Surely you're good enough to keep people entertained for two minutes. And you'd only have to be better than about 20 would be comics to win it.

I'm more precious about comedy than I am pop singers, probably.

And no, after gigging for under a year I'm almost definitely NOT good enough to entertain a TV studio audience for 2 minutes.

No, that is also trash.

(I'm also a pretty good singer, but would not go on X Factor)

You should write a comedy song and do both.

In fact I think you should all enter this.
