Heard back last night from Victoria and they're recording one of my sketches in the recording next Tuesday evening.
For everybody's info, as Frankie said previously, they got back to me a while back asking for a rewrite (plus advice on what to rewrite), so I did as they asked and they had to wait for what seemed like ages, especially as I didn't seem to get this auto-reply everyone is talking about above. That said, I did enter my two sketches pretty soon after the announcement they were looking for sketches and well, well before the 'deadline' (I'd submitted the rewrite well before the deadline too).
Again, as Frankie's already said, she mentions that whether it gets aired depends on the audience and the edit. Also, they've selected only about 40 sketches from more than a thousand. I was also invited along to the recording (though I'd got tickets anyway as I thought it'd be interesting to see a radio sketch show being recorded and it would help see what producers really wanted)
And then two hours later I heard back from Angel Eye about Onliners and they'd like to record a sketch for that too! You wait ages for a reply and then two come along at once! Never had anything on anywhere ever so obviously I was made up!
