I've just watched Dark Knight Rises trailer. Here is my response in comic form!
COMIC: The Newborn Rises
The art work is amazing, but you need to give the thing more bite, its teen friendly graphics with mid life issues, the two don't mix.
why don't you collaborate with a writer as you are a gifted designer.

Ok, feedback taken onboard. This does nothing for you then? Maybe check out some of the others they vary in target audience throughout I think:

But thanks for having a look and I have taken your thoughts onboard mate
It's drawn well, as ever, but if you hadn't explained about the trailer at the bottom I doubt it would make any sense at all.
Would you consider these lines?
Whoa have you seen superman's holiday shots on facebook?
Yeah
He really fills those trunks out
I heard he shits the bed
As he was dressed as Batman I thought he had been on the friends wall, literally...like a play on words. Not really getting it I'm afraid...so he was watching the Batman trailer? but like the cartoon graphics.
No idea how you go about doing this stuff but it amazes me how slick and well put together they are.
The exchange is sitcom humour done right, in the world of the Newmans the joke works (and is executed) spot on and is consistent with their characters. (I imagine the guys voice to have that Ray Romano misery-whine to it)
Any darker/satirical/ironic stuff you have I would save for other designs and projects, and keep these guys the way they are.
Gav. Excellent.

Cheers, yeh I can accept that the audience and the comedy life of this comic is very limited. Thanks for looking though

I like that idea as a concept. The Batman Wonderwoman in bed thing could be quite a nice little series of comics. I will give it some thought. Thanks for the suggestion.
Alternatively if she said
"Whoa have you seen Clark's holiday shots on facebook?"
Could keep wife as is, and then is kinda 2 gags in one.

Yeh basically, the father of newborn posted up news of his kid and the new Batman trailer on Facebook wall. Then the two characters are interested in the 2 different posts but assume their talking about the same one.
Didn't float your boat not a problem Thanks for looking

Ta boss
Get it now, I was putting more into it than there was, I like it as is though , it's the kind of thing the character would say, getting to know them a bit better now!
That Batman trailer is nothing to get excited over. Barely even a teaser.
It's a bit too much of a leap between set-up and punchline I think. One thing that confuses the issue is the idea of Laura and Dave sharing a wall. I've never seen a joint account on Face Book.
I think you would have to be able to understand the concept of artistic licence, when it comes to very small points such as joint accounts on Facebook.
I think you might need an autistic licence as you seem to struggle once you try to rise above the petty.
Nice one Gav. I can relate to this and got it without the info after as I have been waiting eagerly for the new Batman trailer, although I can understand that it may not be so obvious to everyone. The drawings are even better than usual.
I agree with the Chaucer of Chuckles.
