Sent three sketches of this week, one of which is an "And Finally" sketch and another attempting to revive a character from the last series, Julia, turning her into a Beatle Wedding Correspondent.
Newsjack - Series 5 Page 53
Actually managed a sketch this week but will probably end on the reject pile.

Nice idea on the recurring character. I've also covered McCartney, along with May/Clarke and Rooney's Dad.
Another Sir Paul wedding-related sketch here (yep, I thought it might be popular) plus one about exam boards being fined for errors in exams. So only 2 sketches, some way short of James Kettle's advice of writing 6 and submitting the best three!
Well, so far 'Critique' has accepted all my one liners.
I've got a McCartney one liner to send in. Wonder if there's already too much sent in about him ?
Vomiting twins meant there wasn't much writing time for me this week, so just one sketch for me, but it is about the week's big story - the new EU Toy Safety Directive comes into force... What? Of course you've heard of it, simply everybody is going on about it.
Poor Sir Paul, unlike his last marriage if he gets divorced his new missus has got both legs to stand on.
Three sketches from me, all about the EU Toy Safety Directive coming into force.
Just the one sketch this week from me (Miliband and his cabinet reshuffle) - really struggled this week for some reason.
Looking forward to the usual Monday night One Liners session...

Yes, I found it very hard as well.
At least I can use posts on this forum as a secret way to communicate with the team. So here's my latest joke.
"When Liam Fox finally comes out of the closet and admits that Adam Werritty is his boyfriend, it will be a bit like the Pope admitting he is a Catholic or a bear shitting in the woods"
Thangyewverymuch.
I sent off two sketches last night and have currently written about a dozen one liners.
Or 'The Pope shitting in the woods' if they are looking for a bit of a zany twist...

What did you think of the Big News Story Of The Week, you know, the One That Simply Everyone Is Talking About..? Yes, The EU's Toy Safety Directive...
I'm finding it a bit of a struggle this week.
The EU toy safety directive....it's been blown out of proportion...
