Henry the Anti-Semitic Hamster

Hello

New slightly amended version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUIDGk9JOQw (hope it's an improvement). Comments on the script, look, sound, acting, timing and everything else would be great.

Cheers

I kind of thought "Oh, the jokes that it's a bad joke. Oh...", but then the anti-semite bit struck and somehow made it genius. Seemed very Viz.

Liked the animation, but not sure mixing the 'real' background with the animations added that much.

Laughing out loud Excellent, YW!

Cheers Ben! Was aiming for something Viz-ish. Happy it came across that way.

The background's meant to look painted, like the BG in an old Disney or Warner Brothers cartoon - suppose it might look too photo-realistic at the mo. I might photoshop it to make it look more painted or I could draw a whole new background. Will ponder.

Quick edit: And cheers to Nil too!

:D Brilliant. I thought the timing, the facial expressions and the voices were great. The background actually does look as though you've just rendered a photograph in photoshop, but it was only on the third viewing that I really paid any attention to it - and then only because of the remarks above.

Only thing I didn't like was the intro voice. I think it may need an accent. The Viz theme may be where you should be heading so try a Geordie voice?

What they said. :)

Made me laugh. The pause after the joke is just the right length I think. I'm also unsure about the background and the intro voice but they didn't spoil my enjoyment.

Good stuff.

Laughing out loud

The only thing that I have read on critique, so far, that has raised a smile. well done.

Lovely. One of those instances where a bleep is funnier than the word itself.

Made me laugh a work of malign genius.

Thanks to everyone for viewing and for your kind words.

I've amended it oh-so slightly. New version can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALw7XiK2LvE . I re-did the introing voice (made it sound cuter - hope that works) and made the BG look more painted. Hopefully I've improved the cartoon a bit. Any more thoughts would be great.

Thanks again
Yac

Improving on perfection where are all these ideas eventually going?

Perfection? Thanks, but I've got a lot to learn.

This cartoon is going to the BBC3 'Funny in 15' competition. Despite the fact they pay nothing and they don't say what any winners will get.

It's probably a bit silly to enter it really.
