'80s cartoons rule
I was watching the new version of the Scooby-Doo cartoon with my nephew the other day, and I was disappointed by the music they had playing. It was sort of Green Day-esque Neo-Sea Shanty Punk type of stuff. Whatever happened to the groovy psychedelic Funk that you used to hear on the old episodes?
It's too knowingly ironic the whole point about the old one was it was accidentally cool.
Surely the cartoons that 'rule' are mainly the ones you watched yourself as a kid?
And all the rest are bollocks
anyone remember Murun Buchstansanger from channel 4 in the 80's ?
Damn it was good
Does anyone remember The Wuzzles? There was only one series of it made, which was shown here during the school summer holidays of '87, then repeated during the '88 holidays.
Yeh but watching it later he seemed kinda a loser, I bet he killed himself.

Some of the worst intros I've ever seen, I thank Bod I didn't watch them at the time.
eh
They look like terrible cartoons. I was expecting Dungeons and Dragons or Ulyssees 31! You've let us all down, I hope you're happy.
Sometimes you have to spread the net further.
Ulysses 31 is just so good it's become a cliche.
You are, of course, wrong sir. But even if you weren't those that you have chosen would be at the bottom of any cartoon heap. They're more about selling product than stories.

Yeah, I watched that. Now I think back, it was quite a sissy cartoon. I think The Gummi Bears replaced it.
These kids knew how to get along:
