I presume the audience will know what "christingles" are, cos the whole thing hinges on that knowledge... but given it is for church, and I am a godless heathen (I won't say the "A" word; it might frighten everyone off), I think they will know what you are going on about immediately.
Apart from that, I can't really add to everyone else's comments. It seemed nice enough. Also, liked the dolphins line.
