Cool

Is this the new emoticon people are using when they've run out of argument now?

Cool

But that's just a picture of me. :)

Ever wonder why some of your favourite music tracks were never hits ? C'est la guerre.

She has done. That's her entire point.

I got the feeling the suggestion was that she should send it off and see if the replies were identical. As opposed to just similar rejection.

The big problem here is that he OP suggests that a lot of people did read it and just didn't like it... and it seems odd to me that they'd even consider reading it if they were just going to drop it without a thought.

I do find it amazing though that I have tried to warn you all about the business but I have got shot down in flames. Carry on striving though....for nothing. Good luck.

I hadn't noticed this before until someone quoted it. So I do want to add my own advice because I feel this is appallingly defeatist sour grapes.

Carry on striving. If you get rejected regularly, blame your own script. Write a better one and resubmit. I did that and it's got me somewhere.

I have kept striving. And I feel I have got somewhere. I write for a living these days. Have done for two years.

Yes, it's a tricky business to get into, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. You need a bit of luck and a bit of timing, but if you keep striving and have ability you'll get somewhere.
