You really do need to be part of this... Page 4

The Guardian is saying that Andy Coulson will be arrested tomorrow morning by the police and that a 'second arrest is to be made in the next few days of a former senior journalist at the paper'. I would assume this to be Rebecca (Rebekah - get to f**k?) Wade/Brookes.

Useless News of the World-style trivia: Becky used to be married to Grant Mitchell from Eastenders. Amazing.

Whatever, Cameron is in deep doo-doo over his judgement. And Labour should be in deep embarrassment about their new leadership approach, which has seemed to be based on the idea that he doesn't have to be well-known or any good now, as long as he is in a few years' time. Governments will always have crises, and Oppositions need to be ready to react to them, no matter when the next "expected" election is.

But, then again, it is said that oppositions never win elections, governments lose them.

What's your point? Cameron is a colossal arsehole who should beg forgiveness from the British people before being fired into the centre of the sun in a recommissioned Soviet Soyuz rocket.

Milliband is ineffectual and craven. He was chosen for his urbanity and shining non-workin-class face but he is about as smooth as a milkshake made out of nails and glue.

You know this can't happen because - ahem - "under the previous government spending on our recommissioned Soviet Soyuz rocket programme spiralled out of control so we've cancelled it."

"But we have an urgent need for a recommissioned Soviet Soyuz rocket. We need to fire the disgraced Prime Minister (who neither side really likes) into the sun"

"Balls."

And this is why early cuts are a bad idea.

It was shameful journalism but in a weird way you can imagine football fans doing all that. They're hardly the most savoury bunch.

Obviously the hooligans of the '70s and '80s did a lot of damage to the reputation of football fans, but with the Hillsborough story, McKenzie sounded like he was describing the actions of a pack of rabid dogs who had been locked in a derelict house without food.

2- The boycott. It will hit sales hard this week, but it will almost be back to normal within a month or 2. That's how stupid the public are. The masses are asses.

Ooops. :D

I find it very hard to believe that NoW is the only paper in Britain that got up to this kind of stuff. It would be a great shame if the scandal didn't spread to engulf some more papers.

How did The Guardian know that Coulson was being arrested the evening before it happened?

Clearly the info came from the Met.

Maybe their "source" is paid. Maybe they are given a pint or a cup of coffee. Or maybe sod all.

But is it right that they should have access to this information?

On the subject of EE and the NOTW, I doubt if the family of David Scarboro, who originally played Mark Fowler, will be in the least bit surprised at the depths Murdoch's hacks will stoop to get a story.

As for Rebbekah Brooks she is an over-promoted corporate mediocrity who wasn't going to question her unbelievable good fortune when she was made editor.

Now she's found out the hard way why she was appointed; to take the shit storm away from the gutless cockroaches who are really responsible for this 'anything for sales' culture; Murdoch and son.

Yes, despicable journalists using 'sources' to write 'stories'. How dare they?

Inevitable Downfall spoof, but very funny all the same-

Yeah, but The Sun on Sunday will sell gazillions.

Yep, and the rumours regarding the reasons behind the split are IMMENSE.
