I liked it but there are a few things I don't think are working...
The second panel seems redundant (and what's with the 'tick tock'?)
Having the characters speak in different fonts makes it look amateurish. I'd say stick to the one you've used for the dad.
Is that a typo in the A.L.F. panel? "badn"?
Is it her biological clock ticking?
Maybe if we could see their laptop screens you could have her looking at something to suggest that.

I didn't get that it was her biological clock, but that's quite a neat idea. If you could made that clearer, somehow.. I thought it was the tick-tocking of her typing something.
I liked the interaction between the couple, but didn't really get the punchline: help please?

I remember Alf when it was on, but I didn't know he ate Cats.
So although I liked it, I didn't get that specific relevance.
