Weirdly I'm more with Aaron on this one. I want to like the guy but I just can't get past the smarm (and that's coming from one smarmy motherf**ker!)

I'm reading his new book at the moment, and in one of the footnotes (P 171), he actually references and writes the link for an interview on this very site:
