Not sure if "format" is the right word here? But I've been trying to think of unique ways to produce comedy. With everyone writing sitcom scripts, to producing filmed/audio sketches, animation, comic strips, live shows, musicals, blogs, novels, spoof sites, candid camera and anything else you can do on sites like YouTube. I was wondering if anyone has seen anything that has made you think, I wish I had thought of that.
What is the next step? The most recent movement in producing comedy has been via the internet, which has the ability to host all the different formats mentioned above. But how else can comedy be interrupted? Can Smartphones be utilized (although they're essentially just a computer). Is there a modern equivalent of jokes on a lollipop stick?
Has there been any developments in comedy since the internet?
