Once you have set the numbering of pages, is there anyway to delete/change them?
I page numbered my husband's novel ready for Kindle then find that Kindle have different page lengths.

Double click the page number and simply delete it.
That should work for Word.

Great stuff, it worked....phew 
It always annoys me when a book you're reading starts on page 29 or whatever. Eh??!! Very annoying indeed. 
It has spoiled several otherwise good reads for me. On one book, I counted the forepages with all that publishing guff, expecting the start of the novel to follow in sequence. Logical, I thought. But it didn't! So work that one out!
