Hi these guys ran an opp last year (https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/18142/), now they're at again... Just got this in my inbox:
"Call for comedy sketches!
Following the success of last year's 24:7 live sketch show, we are once again shouting out for your comedy gems.
You send in your script, we choose the best of the bunch and our talented troupe, The 24:7 Comedy Players, perform them during the Festival as a late-night, comedy, cabaret treat on Friday 22 July.
Sketches should be no more than five minutes long and be suitable for a small cast with imaginatively little in the way of props!
Comedy monologues are welcome if they contain a bit of narrative and are character-based - not stand-up!
A panel of judges will pick a winning sketch on the night based on size and number of laughs. A fabulous prize will be awarded to the writer. (Last year's winner had a mentoring session with a producer from a national production company.)
Send your script or scripts to sketch@247theatrefestival.co.uk. The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 8 July.
Full info on the Comedy Sketch Night will shortly be available on the 24:7 website. Tickets: £3 on the door.

I've sent a couple of sketches off, anyone else giving it a bash?
